Homeobel, Charleroi

Homeobel Library, the library, archive and documentation center of the Royal Belgian Society of Homeopathy, is located in Charleroi and is open to anyone interested in the history of homeopathy.

In addition to an exceptional library with several thousand volumes, a collection unique in Belgium, the center also has numerous archives dating back to the 19th century, handwritten records of traditional medical consultations, etc. A historical treasure.

This library contains almost all Belgian homoeopathic literature since Hahnemann, the founder of homoeopathy, and all Belgian homoeopathic journals since the 19th century.

The Royal Belgian Society of Homoeopathy was founded in 1872, making it one of the oldest homoeopathic societies in Europe.
